Founded in 1976, Riggenbach Kitchens & Design has evolved into a full-service remodeling contractor specializing in kitchens and baths. Whether it’s removing walls and changing room layout or adding custom lighting and installing premium countertops, we transform ordinary rooms into exceptional spaces.

Our Team
At Riggenbach Kitchens & Design, nearly every aspect of your project is handled by our own skilled craftsmen. Owner Ed Stoller has been part of the company since 1976, when he began working here as a teenager. In 2008, he purchased the business from founder Glenn Riggenbach, continuing its legacy of superior craftsmanship and customer care. Today, Riggenbach Kitchens & Design remains a true family business. Ed’s wife, son and son-in-law are all part of the team, each bringing their own unique skills and dedication to the company. Our close-knit crew is committed to treating your home with the same care and respect we’d give our own.

We design and build custom cabinetry in our own shop, offering a seamless blend of craftsmanship and remodeling expertise. We don’t have standard cabinet sizes as every cabinet is built to fit your space, for a style uniquely yours. All cabinets are built with ¾-inch sides and bottoms for extra durability. Choose from dozens of door styles and different woods, including hickory, oak, maple and painted woods.
We also offer smart features to enhance daily use, such as tool-free adjustable rollout trays, full-access appliance garages, touch-to-open trash pullouts, and many more
Countertops
A Surface that Complements Your Space.
As a full-service remodeling contractor specializing in kitchens and baths, we are well versed in all types of countertops. We offer expert guidance to ensure your countertops and cabinets work together seamlessly—whether you want clean and subtle or bold and dramatic.
Quartz
Low-maintenance and non-porous, quartz resists stains and does not require sealing. We sell leading brands including Cambria, a high-quality quartz made in Minnesota with more than 100 color and pattern selections, and Eternia Quartz made from part natural stone offering a balance of beauty and affordability.
Granite
A natural stone slab that is cut and polished, granite adds natural beauty to your kitchen or bathroom. Since each slab is unique, customers select specific pieces with the desired amount of color and veining.
Solid Surface
Made from acrylic, solid surface countertops offer nearly invisible seams, and they are very repairable. If they ever get scratched, they can be sanded and buffed and look nearly brand new. We offer solid surface from select brands including Corian, Hi-Macs, Wilsonart, Affinity and Durasein.
Laminate
We build our own laminate countertops in-house to fit your layout and budget. Choose from hundreds of colors and many edge profiles. Sinks can also be under-mounted to allow easy cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to complete a remodeling job?
Depending on the scope of the project we can complete some jobs in as little as 2 to 3 days or up to 6 to 8 weeks for larger projects.
What are your cabinets made of?
We build our cabinets in-house using a solid ¾-inch-thick plywood for the base and have door styles with all types of woods including hickory, oak, cherry, maple and painted wood.
What type of finish do you use on cabinets?
We build our own cabinets and apply a conversion varnish to protect the wood, offering excellent resistance to scratches, heat and moisture.
Do you help design kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes, we partner with homeowners to come up with design options and provide computer drawings.
What’s the remodeling process?
After the initial phone call, we schedule a time to go to the jobsite to see it firsthand, give clients some preliminary ideas and drawings, take measurements, then provide an estimate. Once accepted, we provide more details and a timeline of the remodeling job.
